Sewable

Branding

Designs.

Sewable is a subscription sewing box made for those who want to learn how to sew and for those who already have experience in sewing. All experience levels are invited.

For this company I was asked to come up with several logo ideas. After brainstorming and giving them a few options, we narrowed down the favorite logo design I created some design templates for the client.

These included a social media ad, a landing page for their website and a style guide to pull from for future designs and social media posts.

Biometric

Wall

VinYl.

Like I have said before, large scale graphics are so much fun to work on. This wall graphic was used with a variety of wall plaques in hexagonal shapes matching the vinyl. The challenge I faced was getting the gradient to flow properly.

With the almost honeycomb effect this creates, the hexagons fit really well together and the dots pull everything together. This design had a very short deadline, but I was able to get it back in time with the client being very please with the end result.

Display &

Solutions

CatAlog.

I revamped this catalog from top to bottom. It was outdated and needed a pretty intense overhaul. This proved to be challenging because working through a file that has been touched by several other designers for the past years, with their own ways of doing things, creates a need to decipher.

This doesn’t typically take too long, but there is alot of clean up that needs to happen in order to prepare the files for production. There are always missing links and hidden layers/fonts. Its like a puzzle, I love puzzles, so I really enjoyed working on this project.

AND, I had the opportunity to have a little creative freedom with a couple designs inside the catalog. Which is always fun.

Apartment

Mailer.

When it comes to mailers, one of the most important things, is to make sure the postal spacing requirements are met. That way no stickers will be placed over the printed graphics and the spacing is correct.

This company wanted to show a lot of what they had to offer on a small amount of space. After the design was approved, I used a data merge in InDesign to merge the addresses and names.

Office

Building

Window

Wraps.

Designing window wraps are probably some of my favorite projects. The canvas is large, and with that comes the need for precision and detail. These window wraps create semi to full privacy depending on the design. This project specifically was for a room that was looking for semi privacy.

You will see some peek through triangles and a variety of printed colors and opacities. When making these large images, there is no room for mistake when they go to the printer. Everything will show up on the window. Meticulous care goes into my design process as I prepare these files.

Design &

Business

Cards.

I am always putting together Business Cards. A lot of time that comes along with a Logo Design.

The logo design process tends to start with some research on the type of company and projected audiences. I will design 3-5 logos for the company to look at and choose from. We either finalize or continue to tweak it until the logo meets their needs.

When I design a business card I usually start with a similar process, giving the client 3 or so options with various layouts.

Social media ads, yoga class studio

Social

Media

Ads

There is no short supply in need for Social Media Ads! They are a lot of fun to play with. You can make anything from vibrant and vivid, to chic and modern. It is fun to push the boundaries on design to catch attention .

This ad specifically was to announce the new yoga schedule at the beginning of the year.

Billboard

Design.

Billboard designs come in many shapes and sizes. Some are simple and some are a fun new challenge. This project specifically was just that. The client and I were aiming to create an image that would “Illuminate” without luminescence.

This took quite a bit of trial and error. While there could be options to add physical lighting to the billboard if the client were nearby, they were located across country. I created a glow effect on the imagery enough to make it look as though the logo was Illuminated and the client walked away from this very happy.

Pink noise, eyes of an operator album cover

Eyes

of an

operator

I have the opportunity to work on the ablum artwork and t-shirt designs for the band Eyes Of An Operator. I love working on his artwork. He always has an interesting style in mind and I get to dig a little deeper into my creativity.

I have designed everything from album covers, new logos, t-shirts, and I will be starting a website for the band soon.
